    Ink and watercolor on transfer paper, stuck on cardboard. 14,5 x 10 cm. Some traces of folds without gravity for the pattern. Signed with the initials at the middle right.

    Lebedev Ivan Konstantinovitch (Иван Константинович Лебедев), draftsman, illustrator, engraver on wood, settled in Paris in 1909 in the district of Montparnasse. In Montparnasse, he frequented many artists such as Picabia, Mayakovsky, Ravel, Pierre Mac Orlan, Éric Satie, Blaise Cendrars, Soutine, Modigliani, André Salmon, Matisse …

    Received at Les Beaux Art in Paris, Lebédéff was one of the greatest woodcutters of his time.
